Hebrews 8:11 NIV

"No longer will a man teach his neighbor, or a man his brother, saying, 'Know the Lord,' because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest."

Congratulations Graduates!

After thirteen years of academic strides, life lessons, and character building experiences they are finally done … Well … at least for now! Twenty youth from St. Peter’s tossed their hats in celebration concluding commencement exercises at North Butler High School on Sunday, May 21st. Prior to the formal graduation ceremony, St. Peter’s offered special recognition to those graduating within our congregation.

During 9:00 a.m. worship, the seniors entered church proudly robed in blue and gold. They sat together as a class and were recognized for their many accomplishments in and out of school. As they stood before family and friends, Pastor Hatcher and church council vice president, Gary Schmidt, presented each youth with a book of prayers as well as a gift from their Luther League peers. Each graduate then took a moment and shared their future plans with the congregation.

Following worship, the graduates were honored during a special hour of fellowship. It was also during this time that seniors posed for photos.
